Spring Break

This past week was mommy's spring break. It was a nice week to be home with Elyse. I am so glad I got to see her grow and learn so much! But it is back to work, until June at least:)

Pull-Ups

I couldn't believe it but today Elyse pulled up on a chair and stood straight up. It surprised me that she was that strong. But then I put her in her crib and later went back to check on her. She had pulled herself up on the side of the crib and was smiling at me. I was not ready for that. She loves to play with all of her toys and move around like a pro! She is growing so big each and every day!

Gerber Baby

Elyse is now getting to experience all of the new foods that Gerber has to choose from. She is eating three meals a day now. She is also getting juice. (She doesn't like it very much.) Her favorite item on the menu so far has been Chicken and Apples. (Yes, grinded and mixed together.) She got a new eating chair! I can't believe how much of a big girl she is!!

Chick-fil-a

Elyse enjoyed a big bite of mommy's icedream. She grabbed for the cone and quickly became overwhelmed with this new tasty delight :) Unfortunately, she will not be having this treat often.. at least until she can drink cow milk!

Ducky Poop

On Saturday we went to Lake Ella. (This is one of my favorite places to go in Tallahassee.) However, the sights were a lot nicer than the smell on this particular day. I ran into a good friend Paul. It was nice to get out of the house:)

Trousdell Pool

Elyse got in her new bathing suit and we went to the pool with Mya and Lisa. She loved the pool! I hope so because so does mommy!

Elyse's Baptism

On Sunday I dedicated Elyse to the Lord through the New Covenant sign of baptism. I am so thankful for all the people who came and supported us. We are so blessed to have so many people helping me to raise Elyse in the truth of the Lord. What a sweet day this was! I am so thankful for the Lord's GRACE upon me!

NawNaw's Visit

My mom came and stayed with us this weekend. It was a big weekend for us. Elyse was 6 months old on Saturday (3/17). Also, Elyse was baptized on Sunday.

A stroll with the strollers

Lisa took me up on a request to take the girls on a little walk. We ended up being gone for an hour and a half. But it was so nice to chat with Lisa. Elyse is now sitting up in her stroller. She enjoys herself for a longer period of time because she can see all the sights!

A beautiful, almost Spring, day

We went to church this morning. We got to spend some good time talking afterward with Meagan, Caitlin, Lisa, and Mya. Elyse must of got really worn out because when we were leaving she fell asleep on my shoulder.
