To my daughter,

"Live so that when your children think of integrity, they think of you."
"Her children rise up and bless her..." Proverbs 31:28

Elyse, my desire is that you would know Christ. I pray that I may be an example of His love to you. I pray that you will be able to look at my life and see my dependency on Christ and His grace. I know that I will fail you but I pray that I will always be able to point you to the one that will NEVER fail you and that is our Savior Jesus. I love you dearly! I ask the Lord that you will not remember a day when you did not know Him. Muah! I thank the Lord for you, as you bless my life daily and remind me of the King's love for me!

Love you,
Mommy

We were meant to be!

Memorial Weekend

This day marks the beginning of summer every year. This year was no different for me! I am finally done with the school year. I am so excited because I get a couple of months to enjoy what I long to do...stay at home with my children. I get to focus on Elyse and spending time with her.
We began our summer with some friends. We went to a BBQ with some people from Centerpoint. We got to enjoy good fellowship with some other families and babies:)

Visiting a foreign place

We went to visit my dad and Lori's new property, which is about 30 minutes outside of Marianna. Well, we got lost because I missed the very small intersection. It is a very small town in which they will now abide. There is not even a chain restaurant there! They will be a lot closer to us than they are now though! We had a great visit:)

Elyse stole Tristen's ice cream!

Tristen is a great uncle!

Elyse has an uncle who is 7 years old. My dad and Lori adopted him about a year ago. He is so good with Elyse. He read with her and he tried to play teenage mutant ninja turtles and helicopter with her. Elyse just ate everything:)

Seminoles... What!

An adventure at the Barfield's Pool

Elyse's bows

I started putting Elyse's hair up in little bows or clips. She still has a bit of a bald spot in the back. So one day we hope her hair growth will even out. For the mean time we will try to distract by placing the bows in her hair!

Blessed Friendship

Emily is my sweet roomate. She loves Elyse so much. She is such a great help by watching Elyse for me and loving on her. I am so thankful that I have someone that is dedicated to us!

Mommy's night out

I got to enjoy a nice night out at the Coffee Pub with Lisa. I am so glad to find another mom that I have so much in common with and we can laugh together:) I love you Lisa!

Daddy and Leasey

Either in high gear or sleeping

Elyse is just like her mommy. She doesn't really know how to just sit still and chill:) I can bearly keep up with her. But when she is tired ---she is OUT!

Mother's Day Weekend

I had a great weekend! It was my first mother's day with Elyse. I was again blessed by all the people that love me and Elyse. I know that I am Elyse's mom but I feel as if the Lord has blessed with me with so much help to guide her in the ways of Christ. So thank you to my friends and family for all of your assistance. Elyse's middle name is Jayden. It means that God has heard and He has heard again and again! Thank you Lord for meeting all of our needs!
"And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

This particular scripture God has kept me coming back to time and time again since my pregnancy until now! And so I quote..."Now to OUR God and Father be the GLORY forever and ever. Amen."

To my own mother... I love you dearly! Thank you for all you continually do:)
